As most of the Doctor Who world knows, the rumor is Jodie is not returning for Season 14. So, media and fans are making recommendations as to will replace her. In this article from GiantFreakinRobot, Michael Sheen is their suggestion for the next Doctor. Is it too early for these articles? Yeah, it is only suggestions or maybe how they see it. But Season 13 isn’t in production, and the media is trying to fill the spot.

Fans see the media saying Whoopi Goldberg wants to be the next Doctor. When making these suggestions, there are reasons to make them the next Doctor. They make a case for each one and hope they are right. There is an article about the next doctor being a Tennant co-star.  Well, Sheen did costar with Tennant in an episode of Doctor Who or another television program. Will he be the next Doctor?

Are the rumors fact or fiction? Does Jodie leave Doctor Who? Some media outlets and fans believe it to be true. So, the actors who seem to fit the role the best are who the media are mentioning. There does not need to be a rush to replace Jodie because it is not a done deal. Fans are not sure of her leaving the role yet. So, why is it such a big deal to try and guess the next Doctor? They seem to get their kicks making guesses.

Not knowing much about actors or actresses, there isn’t a guess from this fan. Honestly, let’s leave that up to Chibnall and hope he chooses the best actor. Just being a fan is enough for some, but some have their own candidates. The best thing is there is a possible secret regeneration this time. So, this can be the most amazing regeneration ever. Or at least this is the view of some fans. Michael Sheen may be the best choice, but the media needs to wait. The BBC hasn’t confirmed that Jodie is leaving Doctor Who.
