Could Whovians be in for a surprise when Season12 airs? Well, rumor has it the Doctor will meet Mary Shelley. Everyone knows her as the famed author of Frankenstein. The idea is a grand one and takes the show back to its roots. Doctor Who was originally to contain history lessons for children. Which you see with such stories as the Romans and the Aztecs. Of course, they get away from that premice with the second story. Well, the show would become very popular even though they did not follow the plan.

The idea of the Doctor meeting Mary Shelley is not a new one. Big Finish did some audiobooks where she meets the Eight Doctor. Even though she has met the Doctor before, this could be a good thing for fans. Depending on how fictitious the story is, it will be educational. Fans need to understand this is fiction. Because it may not be completely accurate, but it makes for a heck a story. Of course, that all depends on who writes it as well. According to some fans, the writing needs work.
