Cancellation

What a shock to a fan who doesn’t want to see Doctor Who canceled. Well, according to this article from GiantFreakinRobot.com, cancellation is a real possibility for Doctor Who. In the article, the author does say the rumor comes from a YouTube channel that does not contain any positive news for several programs. Is this rumor true, and have any truth or information to prove it to be real. Is Nerdrotic right or just stirring the pot for views for his channel?

The BBC is probably displeased with the direction of the show. After all, fans have relayed their views. The Revolution of the Daleks had the lowest ratings of all the specials. The question now is what does the BBC do? If Doctor Who gets canceled, what are the fans’ reaction? Admittedly, the fans cannot physically stop the cancellation. Before Jodie’s era as the Doctor, fans receive the good news of Doctor Who’s renewal through Season 15. So, what happened? Is the BBC not pleased with Chibnall’s work as showrunner? Some fans don’t like his work. As well as some who did not think he was the right choice for the showrunner.

Doctor Who can remain viable as long as it keeps up with the times. It also can be better than ever with the right person at the head. Admittedly, things seem to have dropped off since Chibnall took over. The problem may seem obvious, but is it that easy? There can be other problems we don’t see. The last time the BBC canceled Doctor Who, one man caused it. This time there may be more reasons. Who knows what they are going to do? Doctor Who is not out of date and can be great again.

What do fans do? How can they stop the cancellation of Doctor Who providing the rumor is true? Do the fans want to see Doctor Who canceled again? What fan wants to see it gone? Fans want to see changes to certain aspects of Doctor Who, not a cancellation. If the BBC does not trash it, changes are necessary! What does the BBC see is wrong? Well, the rumor is Jodie is leaving after Season 13, but she is not the problem. The change to a female Doctor for some is a problem. But is that the real reason for the drop in ratings?

Every fan watches or doesn’t watch for different reasons.  After The Revolution of Daleks, then the BBC sees how the fans received it. Have things changed enough for the BBC to trash Doctor Who? Fans are hoping it hasn’t changed enough for that. Them not watching means they want to see some changes. Any fan who loves the show doesn’t want it to end. So, please let the rumor be false. It was devastating the last time it went off the air. Fix the problems and go forward. What it will take is something only the BBC knows. Fans around the world don’t want to see the Doctor Who laid to the side again!
