Ambitious

When a showrunner describes a series as the most ambitious, what is your take? Fans around the world watch Chibnall’s Doctor Who, and they are or aren’t impressed. Can one series change the minds of fans? This article from Metro tells the readers fans are digging through a treasure hunt. What does a treasure hunt mean? Is there a lot of mystery? Well, this seems to be the case. With mystery, there is not any certainty as to what fans know about season 13. Therefore, excitement is in the wings waiting to pounce.

Even though, Chibnall’s first two seasons did not catch the world on fire. He did have some good times. One good thing is bringing back the Master the way he did. What a surprise that is, and fans want to see more of the Master. The intrigue is great. Did he actually destroy Gallifrey? Is the Doctor the Timeless Child? Chibnall opens boxes to which we only touch the surface? Does he take one of those ideas and move forward in this season? Do we get some idea of what the plan is?  Hey, fans are looking for something to let them know what is happening.

So, what does Chibnall mean? There are questions to ask and answer. At the moment, fans most likely won’t get any answers because Chibnall wants this to be a mystery. It is not a bad idea to leave fans in the dark. Of course, the fans are looking to discover what Chibnall hides in the trailer for Season 13. Fans hope Season 13 is as good as advertised. They need a great series as Whittaker and Chibnall leave for other projects. So, fans wonder what ambitious means? Does Chibnall expand on the Timeless Child? Let’s hope this is Chibnall’s best season. Hopefully, he leaves on a high note and gives the fans something to talk about in the end.
