Welcome Return

Not knowing that the Sixth Doctor and Peri had an audio adventure in 2014, this is a welcome return of one of my favorite combinations. Everyone who has ever watched the Sixth Doctor does not forget Peri. She was for many a favorite as well as this fan. So, when the BBC thought about canceling the show the first time, those fans were hurt.

The hiatus which took place not long after Colin Baker became the Doctor was to eliminate an iconic television show. Of course, Doctor Who fans did not like what the BBC did and took action. They shot a video pleading with the BBC to bring back the program. Well, the BBC brings back Doctor Who, but Baker is only allowed to stay for the 14 episode season. So, yeah, there is or was some bad blood there. It was so bad that Baker didn’t even participate in his regeneration episode.

Well, Big Finish published an audiobook in 2014 and after that fans want more episodes with the Sixth Doctor and Peri set after the Trial of the Timelord. Well, according to this article, Big Finish is publishing a new audiobook for release in August 2020.

The release of the new audiobook is a welcome return for fans. They will be able to reunite with one of the best combinations for Doctor Who. Of course, that is only an opinion. Well, at least for this fan, but there may be more not sure. The first episode was violent in some ways and made some fans think twice about the Sixth Doctor. Well, things changed, and today there are many fans of Colin Baker and Nicola Bryant. This audiobook shows the affect the fans of Doctor Who have on the show.

Having Baker and Bryant return to Doctor Who in audiobooks will be amazing. Let us the fans cheer on Big Finish as they continue their work on keeping Doctor Who alive. Fans should thank Big Finish for all the work they do in making these audiobooks.
