Teasers

The BBC continues with the teasers. In this article by Ellie Harrison, we see the BBC released two more photos. These are of two of the companions. The pictures are of Yaz and Ryan played by Mandip Gill and Tosin Cole. Many fans are anxious for the new season, and all the teasing is getting old. We want to know when will see the first episode of Season 11.

As fans, we haven’t had new Who since the Christmas special, and all this teasing is getting old. One fan said, “it’s not a ‘new look” of the cast that Doctor Who viewers are desperate for: it’s a ‘new look” at the unreleased air date….”(1) There is not a truer statement. All Whovians need to know when Jodie will hit the screens. The teasers are getting old. Therefore, bring on the new season and stop teasing the fans.

Diehard fans find it hard to wait for new episodes, therefore why do continue to tease us. We are at a point now that we are only a few weeks away, but it still seems like a million days away. Yes, it is closer today than yesterday, but not close enough.

Fans are being patient, but teasing them may be like teasing a mean dog. You tease them enough and they will bite. Come on BBC, give us the fans a start date. This is the only way we will have peace over this. My guess is they wish to keep us anxious as we wait for September or October to get here. They are the ones in control. Therefore, they do what they want. So, they make the fans wait.

Maybe in the nest two or three weeks, we will get the air date and nail down when to be ready for the first Jodie Whittaker story. Most fans are ready to see how she will handle such an iconic role, as well as how Chris Chiball handles this iconic television show. Teasers are alright, but enough of the teasing. It is time to release an air date for the first episode!!
