Osgood

Every Doctor Who fan knows Osgood. She is a scientist who works with U.N.I.T. She was instrumental in her role. With her help, the Sontarians were able to be defeated. Everyone knows that in the end there were two Osgoods. The two were identical which made it hard to tell which one was human and which one was the Zygon.

In this article, there is news there is a possibility of her returning. Does it seem there is unfinished business? Who knows? Of course, with Doctor Who anything is possible. Is there any reason Osgood can’t come back? Of course, there isn’t. The writers of the show have so much open to them. The many ways the writers can spin things means anything is possible.

For fans of Osgood, they will look forward to her return with delight. But then there may be some who complain, while others will tolerate it. There is a need for substance in writing a good script when returning Osgood or any other character to Doctor Who. Ingrid Oliver did say she wants to do an episode with Jodie Whittaker’s Doctor.

What does this all mean for Whovian? Well, everyone can believe what they want. If she is coming back, this could be a good thing. Then you have those who are extremely critical. They may complain about the whole thing. See, this can go either way. Doctor Who fans are some of the most passionate fans in the world. They can also be some of the hardest to please as well.

In Season 11, fans did not see a familiar enemy or monster until the New Years special. For some, it was okay, while some were not impressed. Then you have some who gave it rave reviews. So, if Osgood returns for Season 12, the reactions will be the same. Why would anybody say that? Well, because that is the way go with fans of Doctor Who, or with the fans of any television show or movie series.
