New Look Who
According to Radio TImes, who published this article. We, the fans, are getting a new look who for season 11. From what I read in the article, this should make the Doctor Who experience even better. I know there has been as upgrade from the classic as far special effects and all. But this apparently is going to make the show much better on the eyes.
After watching many of the classic who, you can tell that the budget is rather small. As a result, most of the time the episodes are lacking in special effects, and with the advancements in technology we do get much better quality with the revived series. This is what makes nu who better to some. The article gives details about the new cameras and the new way the episodes are being shot.
The writer says, “Production house Films at 59, which supplies the BBC’s Doctor Who studios in Roath Lock in Cardiff, is using Cooke anamorphic Prime lenses and Angenieux Optimo anamorphic zooms that will be used with Arri Alexa XT and Alex Mini cameras for series 11.”(1) Now that is a bunch of scientific information I really don’t understand, but if it makes the viewing experience better I am all for it.
All Whovians know the show has a new production team and things are changing. These changes along with this new way of shooting Doctor Who, we the fans will get a better program on the television screen. Now this change will make the viewing experience more like a movie, and that is something I can go for. With that said, I believe that this is something Doctor Who fans will like.
My hope with all these changes is that we get a better Who. I really don’t know much about Jodie Whittaker or Chris Chibnall. Some of you who fans know more about them than I do and have a better feel for them. The new look who is something I am looking forward to and I hope it lives up to expectation.

View CommentTim,
View CommentI have to admit I did not proof rea it before publishing it. Your tone was seen and I went back and read it and made some changes to post. I don’t mind constructive criticism but that question is not very well worded.
