Mystery

Well, there is a revival of a’s.concept from the classic series. Yes, the mystery of the timeless child goes back to the Fourth Doctor. Of course, there will be a post about that later, but what are the writers saying? Is what Whovians heard and seen important? Yeah, at least to some fans, it is very important. But then to others, they can care less. In this article, there are theories as to who is that child.

Here is a question for you, has Chris Chibnall opened a can of worms, he shouldn’t have? Many Whovians are asking, who is the timeless child? There is more than one reference. So, who are they talking about, and why is it such a mystery? Is the Doctor older than fans perceive? Everyone knows Timelords only get 12 regenerations, but has the Doctor had more than one set of lives? What fans do know is the Timelords gave the Doctor a regeneration cycle, what about him/her having one before the one we are aware.

Could the Doctor have 12 other incarnations? Was Hartnell the first Doctor? That is what fans have believed for years, but what Chibnall has shown them changes things. Or at least confused some fans. What does this mean for Doctor Who? Is there more information coming next year? Well, fans can only hope to get the answers they want.

There is one thing fans can see. Both the Doctor and the Master have ties to the Timeless Child. The Timelords left this a mystery for a reason. There are theories from many people, but are they right? One explanation is that the Doctor is one of the original Timelords. Is that true or false? One can debate this for a long time. Will you get the answer or answers? Maybe you will, or maybe you won’t? Some fans care about the mystery, while others don’t. The question of many fans, is will this help the show in any way? As long as it makes the show better, they are all in. But if it doesn’t, they won’t like it.
