Missy Returns

Missy returns in this weeks episode. The long wait is finally coming to an end. Missy the Master’s recent form comes back for season 10. I for one am happy to see this. The Master has been a great enemy for the Doctor since his introduction in the 1970s. I love Roger Delgado’s version so much I hate that his life is over from a car accident. The producers possibly could use him more than what they after Delgado’s death, but apparently that is not what they plan to do.

I in the beginning did not know what to think about the change from a male actor to a female. The Master is a very logical and devious character and I did not know whether Michelle Gomez or an other female can make the character work. Well, I am wrong and now I am thankful for the change. Gomez does a brilliant job portraying Missy/Master. The stories are entertaining. Because of this I look forward to an episodes in which the Master appears as Missy.

Missy returns for season 10 and my hope is that it is a great as her other times on the show. Now, the Radio Times reports that Missy seems to be appearing in more than the three episodes first mentioned. We know that she is in this weeks and the final two episodes of season 10. There is word that will be other appearances by our favorite Time Lord enemy. (1) Hey, I like to hear this. I know the master is very evil, but I love it because for once the Doctor faces someone of his intellect and genius. Of course, Missy won’t win but hey half the fun is to see the Missy’s face when she loses.

Remember that Doctor returns Saturday night and will face Missy again. I can’t wait until this weekend.
