Glimpse

A secretive BBC is beginning to reveal little bits and pieces of Season 11.  According to this article, the picture on this post gives Whovians a small glimpse of Whittaker’s sonic screwdriver. The BBC revealed the new version of the iconic tool at the San Diego Comic-Con and gave some details.

The article link here tells us that there are still some secrets to be revealed. Which I am cool with because it makes for a more exciting show? Or at least for this fan, it does. I love the story reveal new or hidden details about the Doctor.

The picture reveals a cool new sonic screwdriver. For me, this is the most advanced and cools sonic ever. The Doctor will be able to do all the great things like the older models, but apparently, there are going to be some surprises. Hey, I am cool with that. I love it when a show surprises me.

We all now have something to look forward to in the new season. Now, my hope is we see lots of new surprises with this team. This sonic screwdriver has a very different look from the previous versions, and hope for great things from this new version. The advancements in the Doctor’s favorite tool has been outstanding since the revival of the program.

With the information here and in this article, I am expecting great things from this new version of the sonic screwdriver. As a fan, I look for improvements to the show to make it a better program.  I am very interested in how things went with the new Doctor and new production team. Everything will come out when the show airs in late September or early October, or whenever it airs.

I can say I am beginning to get excited about this new series. There is too much time between now and the airing of the first episode. I hate we have to wait for such a long time for new Who, and complaining won’t help. Hey, the one thing I can say is that I am thankful we still have Doctor Who.
