Doctor Who Fans Panic

I admit I do not live in the UK, but to hear that Doctor Who fans panic hits home. Radio Times published this article, tells us that there was a panic by Doctor Who fans because of rumors that the Christmas Special is airing later in the UK than the US.

These rumors are from some article which will remain nameless according to the article. In all honestly I do not believe that the BBC will air the Christmas Special later in the UK. With the BBC location being in the UK, why will they not air it the same day as in the US. As I look at this, I know that they are like 6 hours ahead of us. So, the UK fans will see the Christmas Special before us. Unless, BBC America will air it as it is airing in the UK. That I am not sure about. I don’t know how that all works.

I can see where there will a panic if this is true. Doctor Who has not aired since the season finale and we are ready for a new story. I want to see a new show and this is the chance, and I hate waiting on new Doctor Who episodes. Then I also know there are the ones which are available on Britbox and Amazon, but it is not the same. I love to watch Doctor Who in rerun, but new Who is better.

These magazines who do this for the most part do this to make money. They are looking for readers and want to sell copy or get people to read their articles. This type of article will cause panic in any place there are Whovians. Those of us who love the show and want new shows now will panic at news like that.

I can see where my fellow UK Whovian counterparts would panic because of this rumor, and the same thing will happen in any other country which loves Doctor Who. This Whovian is glad that this rumor is not true. I would not wish a late airing of Doctor Who for any Whovian. I know what it feels like to be wanting and then delay my fulfillment.
