Rankings
Rankings of the Doctors of Doctor Who is something all fans do at some point. All fans have their most favorite and least favorite. Because they always have one they love and one they may tolerate. Sometimes this is because of stories and sometimes because of the actor. There are many reasons for the liking or hating a Doctor, but every fan ranks the Doctors.
Their rankings differ from those of the fans because fans view each Doctor differently. Some relate more to one Doctor than others. Therefore he is their favorite. And that is understandable and is the case with most if not all fans. Therefore, we fans should not criticize them, but we may very well do that. Now, the Radio Times rankings had descriptions for each Doctor as they justified their spot from 1 to 13. Here is the video.
Radio Times ranks them in this order:
13. Colin Baker
12. Sylvester McCoy
11. Peter Davison
10. Patrick Troughton
9. Paul McGann
8. William Hartnell
7. Jon Pertwee
6. John Hurt
5. Christopher Eccleston
4. Tom Baker
3. Matt Smith
2. Peter Capaldi
1. David Tennant
There is some agreement but complete agreement. But Radio Times seems to rank the Doctor’s of the recent era higher than the Doctor’s of the classic. Why this fan does not know. The only classic series Doctor in the top five is Tom Baker. Of course, that is not a surprise, except he should be higher.
Okay, enough about their let me get to mine. Many fans will not agree with me because everyone has their own opinion. What is important is that everyone makes their list, but the order will change as their knowledge of each Doctor grows.

My top four has three Doctor’s from the 70s and 80s because they are the ones from my childhood. Those are the ones who made the most impact on me because they were the viewed.
All Whovians will have their own because their tastes are different they will vary. Some of them like me will change. That is because the number of episodes watched will change their views.
The Radio Times rankings concluded with a picture of 13th Doctor Jodie Whittaker. Therefore raising the viewer’s thoughts on where she will land. Of course, fans can’t put her their’s yet because there isn’t any material to judge her.
What are your rankings? Will yours be because you watched each Doctor? Will yours be because of a gut feeling? However, when you make them, make them yours because you judge each the same.
