Pregnant
Alright, Whovians, what are your thoughts about Missy being pregnant. Well, in this article from Screenrant, there seems to be a joke between Steven Moffat and Russell T Davies that would change Doctor Who immensely.
Now, the idea of Missy being pregnant may not be that hard to imagine, but there will be questions to answer. As fans, do we want to see Missy give birth to a son or daughter? Then if we do, will the child be good or evil?
Who knows how fans will react when they find out Missy is pregnant? Whether this is a good thing or not depends on the fan. This fan can love it, while that fan hates it.
If Moffat wants to leave this cliffhanger, he must explain Missy becomes pregnant. If you saw the final two episodes of season 10, you can see there is sexual tension between the Master and Missy. Supposedly the baby’s father would be the Master. Which for me is creepy and just wrong.
Moffat idea to play this joke on Chris Chibnall would be disastrous. What will happen to Doctor Who if Missy is pregnant? How will Chibnall run with it? Why leave such a cliffhanger when everything about Doctor Who is going to be new? Going through with the joke means Chibnall has loose ends to tie.
Fans may like cliffhangers, but that one would be hard to swallow. Fans may not want to see Missy pregnant. That is up for debate. We must also ask can Missy even have a child? I read a comment somewhere that Time Lords cannot give birth to newborn babies.
Thankfully this was only a joke. If Missy gave birth to a child whose father is an earlier regeneration of her character just does not work for me. Moffat did the right thing by not carrying this out. Chibnall can begin his era as showrunner with a clean slate.

It could explain the Master/Missy returning. Her unborn baby gave her some of his regeneration energy so that she could regenerate.
View CommentHey, that is a thought. You very well could be right, but Chibnall will be the one to bring back the Master/Missy since he is the showrunner.
