Tease
What a tease we do get. We first get a cliffhanger at the end of episode 12 of season 10. Now we get a tease for the Christmas special. My first thoughts is that it is going to be interesting with what I saw. I cannot tell for sure, but it seems to be during World War II. Now I may be wrong, because I have before, but the man I see playing who I believe is Hitler. Now Mark Gatiss plays the general or leader.
As with end of episode 12, Steven Moffat begins where he leaves off. We get a replay of the 12th Doctor meeting the 1st Doctor. This is really interesting and I can’t wait to see where this goes. We also see the return of Bill as she is looking for the Doctor. More to the point her Doctor. There is also a scene where Peter Capaldi’s Doctor seems to begin to regenerate. Now, I did not see enough to say whether he does or does not regenerate. All you see is the regeneration energy.
The DOctor land in the middle of a war and I believe it is World War II. On a battlefield and have to do something to save the day. In this case it will take both incarnations to win the day. This seems to be the reason why they have come together in the first place. There is one scene where Capaldi’s Doctor said they have an advantage because there is two him. Which is true in many ways.
Outside of the reunion of Bill in the last part of the trailer. I did not see much more than what I mention. My belief is that we may be in for a wild ride and even see where the Doctor helps the Allies during World War II. I just cannot wait for this Christmas Special because there so much which is unknown at this time.
