Donna Noble fans there is good news. According to this article, Big Finish is making a new Tenth Doctor audiobook starring David Tennant as the Tenth Doctor and Catherine Tate as Donna Noble. There is also a bonus as well, Wilfred will also return.
For some fans, Donna Noble left Doctor Who too soon. The way she works with the Doctor isn’t like anything fans see with Rose and Martha. The way Tate and Tennant play off each other is outstanding. It is like they were meant to be together. Of course, most of that is because of the differences in the three actresses, but there is just something about Donna.
Donna fans as well as, Wilfred fans will celebrate this new audiobook. They can now not only watch Donna and Wilfred but listen to them as well. What great news? Some are wondering why did it take so long for Big Finish to do this? Not saying anyone is mad, but Big Finish has many other audiobooks but none with this great team.
Now, some fans may say, “Hey, I thought Donna couldn’t see the Doctor again because her mind would burn up.” Well, that is true, but Big FInish can write scripts which take place before the whole meta-crisis. They are not bound by any set rules while writing these plays. The word on Big FInish is they write outstanding plays. Then the actors portraying the Doctor and companions are as good or better than when on the television screen.
Well, it is always good news when Big Finish releases information on a new audiobook. Big Finish helps Doctor Who stay alive with new and fresh stories. Allowing the fans a chance to hear new stories from time to time. Fans who own these audiobooks rave about the work BIg Finish does and if this lives up to those. Tate and Tennant will be great together one more time.
Not only will fans hear from Donna again, but they will also hear from Wilfred. How great is that? Man, of all the characters of Doctor Who who deserves a return, it is Wilfred. Fans fell in love with Donna Granddad, Wilfred. He was an integral part of Season 4. He helped that season to be better.
