What fan would ever think they will see a rusty Cyberman. Well, according to this article, that is what fans will see in season12. What does this mean for Doctor Who? Of course, fans of the show are asking questions at this point. Questions like how do the cybermen become rusty. They want to know how and why this occurred.
For older fans, they have seen many different versions of the cyber enemy. The original Mondasian Cybermen returned in the final episode for Peter Capaldi. This enemy can be and is a scary monster when you think about it but not invincible. In 1975, the 4th Doctor fought the Cybermen in the Revenge of the Cybermen on the planet of gold, Voga. Fans find out gold is a weakness of the Cybermen.
The rusty Cybermen will be a new look for this old enemy. Who would ever have thought to rust on a cyberman? As a fan of the show, it is something you would never think to happen. They have always been this silver shiny gray metal, but now they are rusting. How do fans view this change? Is it going to be good or bad? Will fans accept it, or will it be something they dislike?
Having rusty Cybermen might be cool, but fans may have a hard time accepting it. Older fans may be less likely to like the idea, but this only an opinion. There may not be any bad feelings about a rusting Cyberman.
The idea of a rusting Cyberman is foreign. There is an ultimate question. Everyone is wondering if the story is going to be good, great, or lackluster? Well, it is not too long before we will find out. The show will return to our television screens very soon. Of course, this a welcome sight for Whovians all over the world.
