Mondasian Cybermen
Mondasian Cybermen will return in the last two episodes of Season 10 per Doctor Who News.(1) Now to see the first ones you must see the serial “The Tenth Planet”. As a result, you will also see the first time the main character the Doctor regenerates at the end. I have only see pictures like the one above as to what they actually look like.
To tell you the truth, they are for certain different from anything we see in the present series. Now why this is what they did, I cannot say. I don’t know how all the other fans will view this reversion to the original Cybermen. Therefore what I write is only my personal opinion.
As long as I have been a fan of Doctor Who, I have seen many different types of costumes. They are all different and therefore all look different in some way. The first ones are very primitive more because of budget restraints. The first ones were more a make do design. As a result what you see does not look real great.
What they do is make things work in the beginning with what they are able to buy. In 1966 though they are very advanced enemies and become a great enemy for the Doctor. They return over and over again during the next fifty years of the program.
The Mondaisn Cybermen are differnt from the latest version in the they still retain some of there humanoid pieces if I am right. I believe that I read that somewhere. If I am wrong pleas for give me. The Mondasian Cybermen look very interesting to me. They make a very good enemy for the Doctor. I see these episodes possibly being very well watched.
With the filing of the last block starting mens the end of Peter Capaldi as the Doctor is close. To be honest with you I believe this is a great way to see the 12th Doctor finish Season 10. Bring back the old school Mondasian Cybermen, the usher in the new Doctor at the end of the Christmas Special.
