Lie of the Land
Lie of the land continues the strange happenings of Season 10. This one is the third episode with the Monks and to me it gets stranger with each episode. It is very interesting as to the way Steven Moffat is piecing all these together. It keeps me thinking and wanting to come back for more. The premise that these Monks have always been here and are affecting the way things go is absolutely marvelous. Then you add the Doctor to the equation and what do you get. Well, let me tell you what you get. You get one heck of a plot lint and show.
The Lie of the Land see the Doctor disappear from his companions and all they see of him is TV broadcast. I do not know what the broadcast are about as of yet but this makes for interesting viewing. I am very curious to what the ending will bring. From all I have heard and read this is the final time we will see the monks. I want to see Bill’s and Nardol’s expression when the Doctor leaves them and goes away.
In the next time video, I think I see a glimpse of the Doctor being shot. Does that mean that a premature regeneration or may one where he stops the regeneration to finish out season 10. Well, I personally do not know, but it very interesting and makes me want Saturday to get here faster.
So, far Season 10 has lived up to the hype of the trailers. I love this season and personally I believe this may be Moffat’s best season so far. I hate that Peter Capaldi is leaving and the BBC wants to go a different direction, but that the way that it is and we have to live with that. All I can say is that I just wait until the next week after each episode.
