Leaks
As a fan, I can see why the production designer for Doctor Who is livid about leaks, but more specifically this leak. But people today live in the moment. They desire instant satisfaction. Therefore, they don’t like to wait to see or get the real deal. Well, in this article, the production designer is described as being livid because he knows who leaked the image.
I am not one for spoilers, but I don’t mind getting a small glimpse to raise my expectations. I am not interested at this time in the look of the new interior. But some fans may want to see the new interior of the TARDIS, but maybe not everyone. Some fans may have the patience to wait, but then again I may be wrong.
I don’t like the fact the guy leaked this information. I am with the production designer on this. The reveal of the new interior of the TARDIS is a big deal, so why would the BBC want people to know how it looks now before the season starts. I feel the BBC wanted to keep this a secret.
Now, the production designer tells Radio Times, he knows who leaked the photo. And I hope whoever talked him into leaking it compensated very well for it. The reason for that is he may not work for a long time. Because I don’t understand why you betray the trust of that friend or the company you work for. It is unacceptable. You may call me old fashion, but I want to be someone you can trust. I don’t want to leak secrets or tell others things you wish to keep secret. The surprise of something new is much better than learning early. Or at least, I feel that way.
As a fan, your feeling may not be the same as mine. I am old fashion in so many ways. For someone to break the trust of a friend is not acceptable. I know that is the way things seem to work nowadays, but I believe it is wrong!
