Affirmative Master

Affirmative Of all the news we have seen and heard, I can say the news of the return of K-9 excite me the most. According to this article, K-9 is returning as a stand-alone hero. If everyone remembers, the BBC tried in the 1980s to have a series with K-9 and Sarah Jane. The name of that one was K-9 and Company, but it failed. I have not seen the pilot or any of the episodes if there is more than one.

K-9 is a good character from Doctor Who. As a fan, I loved to see him beside the Doctor as he fought those monsters. Sometimes, you think about having a dog like K-9 and figure how easy it will be to keep him up. I mean you don’t have to feed or water him. But there are the necessary things which are a part of having an electronic device.

K-9 is a cool companion for anyone. The Doctor was the first person to have one, and most fans probably wanted one. How cool will it be to have an electronic dog like K-9? Yeah, I know the name is very creative, but it is an awesome idea. Who wouldn’t want to own a dog with a laser?

The amazing thing to me always goes back to the creative minds of Doctor Who. They create monsters like the Daleks and Cybermen, then bring the Doctor the best companion, a tine dog. K-9 deserves a series of his own. I will watch the series if it is available in the US. The creation of another spin-off of Doctor Who is another indication of the iconic nature of Doctor Who.

The monsters, companions, K-9 along with all the great pieces of Doctor Who prove that Doctor Who is a one of a kind television show. One which will live for a long time. Doctor Who is iconic for many reasons and now they give us one more.
